We actors use voice, gestures, facial expression and movement as artistic means of expression.
Acting … in interaction with other actors and actresses we embody characters in certain situations and actions. We slip into given roles of a feature film, movie, a television or cinema production, a video production or a theatre play under the guidance of directors. We usually cannot choose our roles ourselves because they are offered to us by the director.
We actors often have to learn a lot of text in a short time and have to overcome long rehearsal phases. Sometimes we even have to prepare and play several plays at the same time, or play different roles in one play. For us, the willingness to work with other actors and actresses as well as artists is essential.
